I have tons of new items listed in my shop. I will continue to list more new items. I have tons of crystals to still list, and have been making tons of new jewelry. Add Comment I have not updated this blog and website in quite some time. I am hoping to start doing so on a regular basis again soon. As I read my last post, I couldn't help but smiling. I am now living in Tennessee, and I love it so much here! It is just as wonderful as I thought it would be, and more. I feel at home here. It is so beautiful. I moved in February. Until I got here, I focused so much of my energy on just getting here. I worked so hard, and it has really paid off. When I first got here, it was very cold. It snowed a few times even, which felt alien to me (being from sunny South Florida). Now it is Spring, and flowers are starting to bloom. I am blessed to be living in a house with a back yard, and will be planting a garden soon. :) During my moving process, I have taken my Etsy store down, but it will be back up very soon. I am going to try to have it back up by this weekend. I still have my old inventory packed back in Florida, so I will have all new items when it goes back up. I will hopefully be giving yall a new update soon! Godspeed, Autumn I have never felt as if South Florida was my "home", although I have lived here my entire life. Even though plenty of people wish they could have summer all year round, I have always felt that it was unnatural. I have always felt that having season changes is such an integral part of being human, and that I have been missing out. South Florida has its own beauty. It has beaches, is has some swamplands and a few natural areas, it has its flatness.... But the large amounts of new development have made it feel so unnatural to me. Even most of the trees are new, and have been planted by humans for the purpose of not making the area look barren. I had visited Tennessee a few months ago and loved it. I loved the hills, trees, the history, its ecclectic nature. Even when you are driving on a highway, you are driving through hills and by mostly untamed nature. The state has seasons and temperature changes. I recently visited Tennessee again, this time on my own. I rented a car, and explored. I felt so at peace, I felt as if I could really call this place "home". Being able to drive ten minutes outside of a city and be surrounded by unfettered natural beauty was not something that I am used to being able to do. I spent about a week in the state, before flying back home. As I left, I felt as if I was leaving home. As I watched the countryside fade into the clouds as the plane's altitude got higher, I couldn't help but let tears stream down my face. Now that I am back in Florida, I know what I need to do with my year. My biggest goal of the year is to move to th Where did the year go? I can remember when I was making my New Year Resolutions, and it does not feel very long ago. I can't believe that this year is ending, and that a new year is starting. So much has happened, all so quickly this year. The last few days of this year, I will process what has happened, and plan out how I want my next year to be. I know that plans can seem silly since life tends to do as it will and throw your plans off. So I guess I will not so much make plans, as I will reevaluate what I want and what is most important to me. I do have a few goals that I would like to achieve in the coming year though. I wish you all Happy Holidays and a blessed year to come! Godspeed, Autumn There are TONS of new items in my shop. I have been busy busy busy making listings. I have some really amazing new items in my shop. I haven't even finished taking all the pictures and making all the listings yet. The hardest part is taking the pictures because I like to use natural lighting and by the time I get home from work Monday-Friday, it is already dark. I am so excited to be getting all these amazing items listed to share with the world! :) I have made some changes to this site, and plan to continue to make more changes soon. I have not done much updating in a while, but have some changes brewing in my mind. I have been so busy lately with a full-time job and going to college full-time, but I will make some time to implement the changes to this site that I have been thinking about lately. Halloween is right around the corner, and Autumn (my favorite season) is here. :) Godspeed, Autumn I know it has been a while since I posted a blog. I figured I would post a picture of this gorgeous bird. Look at the color on that wing! I am working on a few things at this time. I will post more soon. |
